Really good experiences overall our stay. Way above our expectations. Room clean, all bathroom supply included. Air conditionings are working good. So lucky there are not any black flies and any bugs at all. Easy communication and very good onsite service as well. Excellent location and easy going people. Only thing needed is resort should post onsite service manager contact number so that guests can directly contact him to get things done sooner.we will go back for sure

We stayed at the Homestead cabin in Terra Woods at Horseshoe Lake, and honestly, it was exactly what we needed. The cabin is beautifully built, clean, and tucked right into the forest, surrounded by tall birch trees that give it a peaceful, secluded charm. There’s something about waking up to that fresh air and birdsong that instantly resets your mind.
The outdoor deck was perfect for morning coffee and evening chats. We grilled, chilled, and laughed late into the night — just what a weekend with friends should feel like. Inside, everything was cozy and thoughtfully put together. The cabin has that perfect balance between rustic woodsy charm and modern comfort.
The highlight? Just the vibe. No distractions, just good company, firewood crackling, and endless trees. Bonus points for the little touches — framed art inside, and that iconic “HOMESTEAD” sign made us feel like we’d found our own little retreat.
Would recommend this place without a doubt. Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape or a fun hangout spot, this place delivers. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing stay at this lakeside resort in Muskoka! The location is absolutely stunning right on the lake, offering beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, and easy access to the water.
What made the experience truly special was the owner Syeda. Incredibly warm, polite, and genuinely accommodating, she went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay.
Whether you’re looking to relax, swim, paddle, or just soak in the beauty of Muskoka, this place has it all. Highly recommend, and can’t wait to return!

Had a fantastic stay at this Muskoka cottage! The location was peaceful and scenic, with beautiful lake views and easy access to nature trails. We had such a wonderful experience at TerraWood Muskoka, truly the perfect cottaging escape! The cottage itself was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. From cozy interiors to all the thoughtful touches, it instantly felt like a home away from home.
The location was stunning, peaceful, scenic, and right on the water. We especially loved the warm, clean lake, perfect for swimming! Canoeing and kayaking were both included, which made the experience even more memorable. It was so nice to unwind while surrounded by nature.
Special thanks to Daman Singh, who checked us in with such professionalism and care. He walked us through every detail, including the amenities, and made sure we felt comfortable and well-informed. His hospitality truly stood out and set the tone for the whole stay.
Everything about our time here was smooth, relaxing, and refreshing. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending Terra Wood Muskoka to friends and family. A perfect Muskoka retreat!
